Join other teachers for a professional conversation about the changes proposed in the P-10 Australian Curriculum Review.

“The Review looks to improve the Australian Curriculum by refining, realigning and decluttering the content so it focusses on the essential knowledge and skills students should learn and is clearer for teachers on what they need to teach.

We have consulted widely with teachers, education stakeholders and curriculum experts, and now we want to hear what you think about the proposed revisions to the Australian Curriculum.

The consultation period is from Thursday 29 April to Thursday 8 July.” ACARA

 

QAMT will facilitate 5 free online professional discussions around different aspects of the review – starting with an introduction from the ACARA Mathematics review team, 7pm Tue 11th May.

 

How it will work:

Peruse the review documents (https://www.australiancurriculum.edu.au/consultation/mathematics/) – join a conversation – complete the ACARA online survey. Comments and questions from the professional discussion will be collated by QAMT for feedback to ACARA.

Where possible sessions will be recorded and posted on our URL so if you can not make the session times you can view later. PPTs used in session 1 and 2 by ACARA will also be available here.
