Teachers Supporting Teachers – professional sharing and discussions 

Teachers Supporting Teachers for P-10 Mathematics:

Special Australian Curriculum: Mathematics V9 support suite with Monique Russell, QAMT President

  • Session 1 is a joint session, for Prep to Year 10, unpacking the Understand the Learning area.  This session will be provided as a recording regardless of when you sign up for the series.
  • Session 2 is split into the phases, for focussed consideration of content descriptions, achievement standards, proficiencies and processes – P-2, 3-6 and 7-10 specific dates.  Again, the recording will be provided regardless of when you sign up.
  • Session 3 provides a discussion and sharing of learnings opportunity – bring-your-own questions, clarifications and queries. This session is live only and again phase specific.  Check the dates for your phase.
  • Session 4 gives some insight into how to plan for either continued or beginning implementation progressing towards 2025.  Another sharing and discussion session with some planning proformas and resources provided to all participants.  This is split into a P-6 and 7-10 session.

QAMT Executive meeting dates usually 3rd Thursday of every month – any member can email any concerns or items they wish to be discussed and these can be added to the agenda before the meeting.
