Enhancing Mathematics Education in Queensland.

Mission

Provide professional engagement, voice and support for mathematics education.

As the Queensland affiliate of the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers (AAMT), QAMT works collaboratively with other national, state and territory Mathematics teachers’ associations (MTAs) and with other groups which promote and support quality Mathematics teaching and learning.

As a QAMT member you are automatically conferred associateship of the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers (AAMT), which grants you access to national resources, publications, professional development opportunities, and discounts on AAMT events and products. This federated structure allows your state-based QAMT membership to provide a gateway to the larger, national network of mathematics educators across Australia. Click here to visit the AAMT Website.

QAMT was established in 1966 formerly Qld branch of the Royal Mathematical Society of London 1922-1965.
